Méditation – Charles Huschle

Charles has been a teacher, human rights worker, yoga teacher, Buddhist hospital chaplain and artist in his life. He’s taught meditation of some form or other (mindfulness meditation, yoga-based meditation, vipassana meditation, Zen meditation or “zazen”) for about 20 years, and a student and practitioner of Buddhism for probably 40 years.

Class

Introduction to meditation class, for people of all experiences. We will focus on posture, comfort of the body, breath meditation, walking meditation, meditation on sound, and touchpoints meditation. All based in common mindfulness and zazen practices. There will be practice for about half the class, and questions/discussion for the other half of class time. Students will learn essential Buddhist practices of self-compassion, acquiring wisdom through attention, and seeing clearly how they can feel better about themselves and others.

Class can be in English or in French. About one hour.
